Option 1: Uninstall Wolfeye Keylogger via the "Uninstall" button
To uninstall Wolfeye Keylogger, you can press the "Uninstall" button. As a result, the software performs the de-installation and completely removes itself from the PC.
This means that the actions taken during the installation will be reversed. Pressing the Uninstall button performs the following actions:
A. All Wolfeye processes are stopped: The program checks if the application s.exe, m.exe, k.exe or c.exe are running and terminates these processes.
B. All registry entries are deleted: To ensure that the program is automatically started silently in the background when Windows starts, entries were made during the installation. These will be deleted.
C. The complete "data" folder created when the application was run will be deleted. Finally, the software deletes itself, so the application wolfeye.exe is removed.
Through these 3 steps, the un-install button performs the de-installation and removes Wolfeye Keylogger completely from the PC. The Uninstall button can always be found in the Wolfeye Keylogger Control Panel. This means you have to start the application wolfeye.exe. Depending on whether the trial version has expired or not, or whether a license has been registered, the control window will look different:
Option 2: Manually uninstall or completely remove Wolfeye Keylogger
The actions carried out via the "Uninstall" button can of course also be carried out manually. To remove Wolfeye Keylogger manually, follow the steps above:
A. Stop all Wolfeye processes: go to the Task Manager and quit the s.exe, m.exe, k.exe and c.exe processes if they should be running. To start Task Manager, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc or right-click on the Windows taskbar below and then select "Task Manager":
In the task manager you have to search and quit the processes s.exe, m.exe, c.exe and k.exe in the tab "Processes". You end the processes by pressing the Delete key or by right-clicking on the process and then selecting "End Process".
B. Delete all registry entries:
It was explained above that during the installation of Wolfeye Keylogger certain entries were made in the registry, which enable an automatic start of the keylogger at Windows startup. To delete these entries, the registry must first be opened. To do this, press the key combination [Windows] + [R] to open the "Run" window. There you enter the term "regedit" and press "ok":
If you press the "Ok" button, the registry opens. There you have to navigate to "HKEY Current User -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Run", where the mentioned registry entries can be found:
These entries must now be deleted. To do this, mark the entry and press the Delete key. Alternatively, you can also click on the entry with the right mouse button and select "Delete":
C. Delete the "data" folder and the Wolfeye application:
Actually, Wolfeye Keylogger will not be able to do the recording anymore because we have stopped the processes and canceled the "Auto Windows Startup". But in the last step we want to remove all Wolfeye Keylogger files completely from the computer.
The nice thing about Wolfeye Keylogger is that the software only stores files in the data folder. Therefore only the "data" folder has to be deleted and of course the wolfeye.exe application itself:
At the end of the de-installation you can restart the computer.
If you have any questions or need help with the setup or the deletion and de-installation process, you can write me an email, I will answer this very promptly and can even turn on you on the computer with "TeamViewer" on it, if you that would like.
